Research Assistant

We are seeking a full-time research assistant to join our innovative, professional team and contribute to the production and development of novel life science research tools.  


  • Follow recipes and protocols to prepare media, buffers and solutions.
  • Assist Ph.D. scientists with experiments. Perform common molecular biology techniques such as E. coli cultures, DNA/RNA extractions, DNA/RNA purification, DNA cloning, PCR, and RT-qPCR, DNA sequencing including next-generation sequencing, etc.
  • Maintain orderly lab environment, assist in general lab maintenance and cleaning.
  • Label bottles, aliquot liquid, and help maintain inventory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • BS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or related biological sciences field.
  • Attention to details and ability to meet deadlines.

Sales Assistant

Intact Genomics has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative to join our team now. Prospective candidates will help the company expand sales to academic universities, research institutes, and biotechnology related corporations.


  • Help with marketing research to find new leads.
  • Sell the company’s products and services to scientists, researchers and decision makers at the research institutions, Biotech and Pharmaceutical companies through emails, cold calls, face-to-face meetings, and digital marketing and other tools.
  • Assist the Sales Director with various sales tasks as assigned, including making invoices, packaging and logistic for sales, and miscellaneous inventory management items.
  • Help hosting/attending table shows, conferences, meetings, and industry events. Make presentations of company products and services to potential clients.
  • Prepare sales data and progress reports. Maintain and expand customer database.


  • Candidate should have an Associate or Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, or Molecular Biology.
  • 1-2 years of sales or marketing experiences in biotech or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of customers and employees in a professional manner. Strong English verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Excellent follow-up skills and well-developed presentation skills and are required.
  • Excellent computer literacy needed, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and digital marketing skills.

Director of Business Development

Intact Genomics (IG®) is biotech startup in St. Louis, Missouri and a worldwide leader in large DNA fragment cloning and metagenomics related technologies. Since 2013, the company has developed more than 100 high-quality life science products.  Its patented technology called “Fungal Artificial Chromosomes” (FAC) has great potential in natural product and drug discovery.

Intact Genomics has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Business Development to join our team now. Prospective candidates will help the company expand and bring the business to a higher level.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Work closely with the company’s leaders and senior scientists to identify growth opportunities,
  • develop new products development plan, marketing strategies, and quality control system.
  • Develop a sound, achievable, comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet the goals set by the management team. Raise capital by communicating directly with potential investors and strategy partners through phone calls, emails and meetings. Obtain investment and other collaborations with venture capital, pharmaceutical and agriculture firms.
  • Proactively contact existing and prospective customers/collaborators to establish and develop key relationships and grow new business revenue with biotech, agriculture, pharmaceutical corporations, academic universities, and research institutes.
  • Make presentations and recommendations to potential investors, the media, collaborators, customers, shareholders, and the senior management team.
  • Participate and lead in marketing writing and press release drafting. Support the negotiating team in drafting and negotiating term sheets and contracts.

Education / Qualification required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Management, Biology, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in finance, business management or communications. Experience in the life sciences or other high-tech industry is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in raising capital through venture capital, private/public offering deals, M&A transactions, and developing partnership deals.
  • Outstanding financial and analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in creating investor presentations, scripts and press releases
  • Professional maturity and the ability to create and sustain productive relationships with internal and external co-workers
  • Ability to discretely and professionally handle confidential business information and relationships.

Digital Marketing Intern

Intact Genomics is seeking a part time Digital Marketing Intern to join our innovative, dynamic team and assist the sales team in their efforts to market and sell Molecular Biology related products.  In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the sales team with collecting sales leads along with day-to-day maintenance of Intact Genomics’ digital marketing channels including websites, email campaigns and social media accounts.


  • Work with the sales team to gather leads through online research
  • Help planning creation and updates of digital marketing campaigns including email campaign, website, SEO/SEM, social media and other marketing tools
  • Monitoring, measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • College student with a 3.0 or above GPA. Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, digital media, journalism or related degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with graphic design software is a plus
  • Creative, self-motivated, organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
