Description

Intact Genomics Poly(A) Polymerase catalyzes the addition of AMP from ATP to the 3′-hydroxyl of RNA in a sequence-independent manner. Poly(A) Polymerase uses single-stranded RNA as a primer, ATP as a substrate and Mg2+ as a co-factor.

Physical Purity

The physical purity of this enzyme is ≥98% as assessed by SDS-PAGE with Coomassie® blue staining (see figure below).

Protocol

  1. Add the Components in the following order:Poly A Polymerase Reaction Set Up
  2. Incubate at 37°C for 30 Minutes
  3. Stop the reaction by adding final concentration of 10 mM EDTA or directly proceed to the cleanup step
